Made of stainless steel, the Gard&Rock solar bollards ensure lasting durability and a neat appearance throughout the seasons. With a height of 42 cm above ground and a diameter of 8 cm, they feature a sleek and contemporary silhouette that naturally blends into any landscaping.

Their clip-on mounting system, compatible with the supplied base or with Gard&Rock anchoring bases (available as an option), allows for precise installation while remaining fully removable. This way, you can reposition your lights wherever you like in your garden.

☛ GOOD TO KNOW: In terms of lighting performance, each bollard includes a set of 3 latest-generation SMD LEDs, delivering a luminous flux of up to 30 lumens for a soft yet effective glow.

Beyond its ground fixation by clip, the Gard&Rock bollard is designed to give a second life to its light head. It easily detaches from the stainless steel shaft, instantly transforming into a portable lantern that you can take wherever you want.

Night stroll in the garden, camping evening, vacation getaway: it accompanies you and guides your steps with ease. Placed in the center of a table, it becomes a warm and soft light point, perfect for extending your outdoor dinners in a friendly atmosphere.

An ingenious ground mounting system, protected by a patent

The initial ambition: to design a discreet mounting system capable of quickly accommodating garden equipment, including solar bollards. To achieve this, our French design office developed an innovative ground clipping mechanism — the Quick Fixation System — now internationally patented.

The principle is based on a base (provided) that you screw or plant in the desired location. Then, simply clip the solar bollard onto it, and you’re done. This exclusive process offers three major advantages:

A quick and perfectly aligned installation, thanks to a simple clipping motion. An equally fast removal, ideal for clearing the way during mowing or garden maintenance. And above all, universal compatibility with hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, tarmac, stabilized ground…) as well as soft surfaces (lawn, soil, flowerbeds…).

☛ TIP: Solar bollards can also be clipped directly onto Gard&Rock anchoring bases (ref. 428-001). If you already have some — for holding a parasol, for example — you just need to reuse them to fix your bollards in the evening or during the winter season. One anchor, multiple uses.

A natural recharge throughout the day

Each Gard&Rock solar bollard combines a photovoltaic panel, a trio of SMD LEDs, and an integrated twilight sensor. Thanks to this combination, the light turns on automatically when ambient brightness decreases—no manual intervention or switch needed. Your bollards manage the entire charge-light cycle autonomously.

☛ TIP: To optimize nighttime illumination time, make sure to place your bollards in areas with the best sun exposure. Avoid shaded spots—under a tree or sheltered by a wall—and favor a south-facing orientation if you live in the northern hemisphere (north-facing for the southern hemisphere).

☛ USEFUL REFERENCE: During the summer period, expect about 30 minutes of lighting for every hour of direct sunlight received by the sensor.
